Srinagar, March 11: On the death anniversary of Hazrat Khadija al-Kubra (SA), Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, President of Anjuman-e-Sharee Shian, Tuesday paid heartfelt tribute to the revered figure, highlighting her unparalleled contributions to Islam and her enduring legacy for Muslim women.

In his statement, Aga Syed Hassan described Hazrat Khadija (SA) as “the first believer, the pillar of sacrifice, and the unwavering support of the Holy Prophet (SAW).” He emphasised that she was not only a devoted wife but also the foundation upon which the earliest struggles of divine truth were steadied.

“If revelation was the descent of divine light upon the heart of the Prophet (SAW), then Hazrat Khadija (SA) was the earthly sanctuary in which that light first found refuge,” he said.

Recalling her immense sacrifices, Aga Syed Hassan noted that Hazrat Khadija (SA) gave up her wealth, comfort, and well-being for the cause of Islam. “She was a queen, not because of the gold in her coffers, but because of the purity of her soul,” he said.

Reflecting on her legacy, he urged Muslim women to take inspiration from her life. “If the modern world defines womanhood by material gain, let us remember Hazrat Khadija (SA), who abandoned riches for the richness of faith. If power is seen as dominance, let us remember that true strength lies in devotion, sacrifice, and resilience,” he added. As the Muslim world observes this solemn occasion, Aga Syed Hassan called for renewed dedication to the values embodied by Hazrat Khadija (SA), ensuring that her legacy remains alive not just in history, but in the hearts and actions of future generations.
