Ganderbal, March 29: The administration in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has completed all necessary preparations ahead of Eid ul-Fitr to ensure a smooth and hassle-free celebration for the residents of the district.
The district administration has taken measures to provide uninterrupted water supply, adequate ra-tion distribution and proper electricity services. Officials have assured that no one will face any in-convenience during the festival.
Routine market inspections are being conducted across the district to ensure fair pricing and prevent any exploitation of consumers. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, told Rising Kashmir that all arrangements have been finalised well in advance to facilitate the people during the festive period.
“I have directed all departments within the district to ensure that residents do not face any problems related to water supply, ration, or electricity during Eid ul-Fitr,” the DC said. He further mentioned that ongoing market inspections have not yet revealed any complaints about the increase in prices of essential goods. Authorities are keeping a close watch to prevent any unfair trade practices. Addi-tionally, the administration has ensured that sanitation work at Eid Gahs and mosques has been completed. This step has been taken to provide devotees with a clean and hygienic environment while offering Eid prayers. “We have taken special care of sanitation at religious places so that wor-shippers do not face any difficulties,” the DC added. The local administration has urged the public to cooperate with officials and report any grievances regarding essential services. The comprehensive arrangements are expected to contribute to a smooth and joyous Eid celebration for the people of Ganderbal.
