ADC Ramban flags-off batch of Hajj Pilgrims

Ramban, May 19: Amid elaborate arrangements by the District Administration under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Varunjeet Singh Charak flagged off a batch of 63 Hajis, including 22 female pilgrims, from Ramban District to Srinagar for their onward journey to the Holy Pilgrimage.
The ADC congratulated the Hajj pilgrims for getting the opportunity to embark on this sacred journey. He extended his best wishes for a safe and secure pilgrimage and earnestly appealed to them to pray for the peace and prosperity of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, a special prayer was held attended by a large number of people who prayed for the successful Haj for the pilgrims.
Dy. SP Hq Omprakash, Naib Tehsildar Ajay Paul, SHO Vijay Kotwal and other officers, prominent citizens, and a large number of religious friends and relatives were also present on the occasion.
