Ganderbal, Sept 10: Veteran Bollywood actor Raza Murad has praised the scenic beauty of Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, where he arrived on Tuesday with his family.
Sharing a video of his trip on his official Facebook handle, Murad expressed his admiration for the breathtaking landscape. “Right now I am at Sonamarg. The mountains are very beautiful, a river is passing here. We have come here to see the beauty of Sonamarg,” the actor said in the post.
Murad, known for his deep baritone voice and powerful screen presence, has acted in more than 200 Hindi and regional films.
Born on November 23, 1950, in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, he is the son of actor Murad and an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).
The actor’s visit has added to the growing tourism appeal of Sonamarg, often called the “Meadow of Gold”, which continues to attract travelers from across the country and abroad with its lush meadows, towering peaks, and sparkling rivers.
