Jammu, Nov 15: AamAadmi Party (AAP) Tuesday took out a car and bike rally in Jammu city which passed through different parts while hundreds of party volunteers and leaders were part of it.
The bike and car rally was led by former Cabinet Minister and Chairman of State Coordination Committee, Harsh Dev Singh along with other senior party leaders.
Different parts of the city from where this rally passed included KachiChawni, Parade, Panjtirthi.
Party cadre raised slogans against failure of BJP as well as Jammu and Kashmir LG administration making people aware about ill-policies of Government that have put every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir into trouble.
Addressing this rally, former minister and State Coordination Committee Incharge of AamAadmi Party, Harsh Dev Singh said that AamAadmi Party is on roads to expose the failure of BhartiyaJanta Party which has put Jammu and Kashmir in problems of all aspects.
The sad state of affairs in Jammu and Kashmir can be gauged from the fact that employees, common citizens are on roads in Jammu and Kashmir due to ill policies of BJP and everyone is feeling cornered under present rule.
“Daily wagers of different Government departments, regular side employees, vocational trainers and teachers, Anganwadi workers and helpers and even pensioners are on roads for their genuine demands and Government has failed to do anything anytime to resolve their issues,” Singh said.
He said that the plight of these protesters can further be gauged from the fact that the Government is not even ready to listen to their grievances and they have been left in a state of helplessness.
“BJP was in Government for years in Jammu and Kashmir and it did nothing for daily wagers and now it is framing committees which is nothing else than an attempt of eye wash,” he added.
AAP’s Harsh Dev Singh also highlighted the problems faced by common people and said that people in all parts of Jammu and Kashmir are on roads due to lack of basic amenities that even include power and water and the system has come to a failure.
Singh further said that only the AamAadmi Party is having potential to fulfil promises made with the people and this has been proven in Punjab and Delhi where development is taking place on ground and in real sense instead of paper development of BJP.
“Only the AamAadmi Party has the potential to fulfil promises made with masses and our work in Punjab and Delhi is a reference of it and we are not like BJP which befool people with false claims and promises,” he said.
