Jammu, Jan 18: Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday held a protest demonstration in-front of Bhartiya Janta Party office in Jammu to protest against new land order issued by Jammu and Kashmir Government and reminded the ruling setup of their ill doings through LG administration.
Party spokesperson said senior party leaders and workers assembled in-front of the BJP office in Jammu and held protest demonstrations raising slogans against LG administration and BJP.
The protest was held to raise voice against ill-doings of Jammu and Kashmir Government which has now issued a dictatorial order of land rule putting poor masses in jeopardy.
“Government should take action against those political leaders who grabbed big chunk of land, action should also be taken against land mafia”,
The Aam Aadmi Party leaders asked the government not to snatch land from poor who survive on small pieces of land allotted by the government. “A big number of BJP leaders are illegally occupying the government establishments like quarters and are enjoying facilities on Government exchequer.
AAP leaders also mentioned slogans of BJP and Prime Minister for removing poverty in the country by 2022-23 and said that instead of removing poverty, the Government has started to remove poor from land in Jammu and Kashmir.
“This shows that all tall slogans of BJP in respect of pro-people work are hollow and merely given to befool masses with no realistic grounds.” leaders further said.
The AAP leaders also said that their party has always raised the voice of poor people and the party will keep doing so and will resist this new land order of Government and all other dictatorial policies of Government with tooth and nail so that rights of masses are safeguarded.
They also categorised the working of BJP and LG administration as dictatorial and said that Government is meant for welfare of state and its people but things are going contrary in Jammu and Kashmir where decisions are aimed to harass poor masses.
The leaders also mentioned the sleepless situation of poor people in Jammu and Kashmir and said that the Government has created a severe situation of uncertainty with this new land order.
“Our motive to protest in front of the BJP office is to remind the party about promises, roles and responsibilities towards public welfare and to ask its proxy LG administration to stop issuing harassing orders”.
