Srinagar, April 20: The city of Srinagar witnessed a determined effort to enhance road safety and maintain traffic discipline as the Flying Squad Enforcement team, led by the ARTO (Assistant Regional Transport Officer), embarked on proactive measures.
Conducting thorough roadside checks, their vigilance resulted in penalties and registration suspensions for 121 vehicles, including school vans, found in violation of regulations. The crackdown notably targeted vehicles halting in designated “No Halting Zones,” particularly along bustling boulevards and major thoroughfares.
