Srinagar, Nov 11: SKUAST-K innovators lead BDA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre showcased their innovations during the three-day KASHMIR EXPO: Startups for Livelihood organized by the Ministry of Sciences and Technology at SKICC.
Union MoS Dr Jitendra Singh and Lt Governor Dr Manoj Sinha also attended the Expo besides officials from the central government, the UT government and various UT institutions participated in the event.
The innovation lead startups from SKUAST-K that participated in the expo include Kashmeer Organo Green Pvt Ltd founded by Dr Khursheed Hussain and Sameena Lone, Cashmir BioTech Pvt Ltd founded by Dr Khalid Masoodi and Cahemere Carbozone Pvt Ltd founded by Dr Owais Ali and team.
Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K congratulated the innovators for their efforts and stressed d that the events like this are the base for infusing the culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He appreciated the efforts of S&T Team and thanked the efforts of the Government of India for organizing such events in J&K UT for boosting the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
