132Bn CRPF organises Jashn-e-Chillai-Kalan at Lal Chowk

On the occasion of “Jashn-e-Chillai-Kalan” 132Bn, CRPF organized a series of singing, painting and debate competition today at Old court sadder, LalChowk, Srinagar.

 

 Being a front runner in providing helping hand to the local youngsters (both genders), and civilian, this event was organized with a purpose of developing mutual trust and sense of coordination with the local youth.

 

 The event was formally inaugurated by Sh. B.K. Sharma, 2 I/C 132 Bn in the presence of Sh. Hemant Kumar, 2 I/C, Sh. A.K. Wathrey, D/C, and other officers of unit, media person, senior members of intezamia committee members During this competition, 54 participants (including 12 Female participants) from Schools/colleges & other educational institutions were present along with their guardians & teachers. All the participants were awarded with appreciation certificates, prizes and the winners and runner ups of each event were awarded with the trophies. 

 

Further winners and runner ups from each event will be nominated for grand competition that is to be organized subsequently. 

 

Sh. B.K. Sharma, 2 I/C 132 Bn congratulated all the winners, runner ups and participants for their enthusiastic efforts and active participation. 

 

He emphasized upon the importance of organizing such event and also assured that such events will be organized in future too for establishing a hearty connection between local youth (from both gender) and CRPF. A grand lunch was also held for all participant . 

 

As concluding remarks, he thanked to the entire media person and intezamia committee member, students, guardians & teachers whose presence have graced of this event for their cooperation and also wished a very bright future to all the participants.
