United imports lifts T20 Chill Out Tourney

The final match of T 20 of Chill out Cricket Tournament was played today between United Imports and Leo Gladiators. Batting first Leo Gladiators were bundled out for 94 runs, in reply United Imports achieved the target in 10 overs loosing only three wickets. Sahil Shafi of United Imports for his brilliant bowling figures in which he claimed 4 wickets was declared man of the match while Saju for his all-round performance was declared man of the series.

ADC Srinagar Syed Ahmed was the Chief Guest on the ocassion and Ms Beenish Wani (KAS), Shri Sajid Yousuf International Football Coach and Shri Wajahat Mujeeb were among the guest of honours.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Syed Ahmed appreciated the efforts of Cricket Fraternity Dalgate for engaging the youth in sports. He also assured the full support from administration for the sports development initiatives in Dalgate.

Ms Beenish Wani (KAS) who also hails from Dalgate congratulated the finalist teams and highlighted the efforts of CFD.

The dignitaries received the honourable welcome from the local lads of the Dalgate and participating teams.

The trophies and cash awards were distributed to the winners and runners up of the tournament by ADC Shri Syed and Ms Beenish Wani.

The tournament was organised by Cricket Fraternity Dalgate in collaboration with JKSC.
