Sheikh Waseem is a content creator who makes different kinds of videos including challenge videos related to food, science experiments and daily life.
A resident of Boniyar area of Baramulla, he choose to venture into the social media world and became a vlogger and YouTuber with a focus on food challenge that entertains people. He has received a tremendous response for his videos making him the trendsetter.
The 25-year-old started as vlogger and later shifted his focus to content creation after he got an encouraging response on social media.
In August this year, he uploaded a video on making of cheapest electric cutter (an experiment at home) on facebook for which he got 503k views. It has been almost a year since he started uploading his content on facebook.
Waseem completed his bachelors degree from Baramulla and later did masters in History in 2020 and afterwards he started vloggingfrom 2021.
From childhood, he was interested in traveling, photography and videography. “I got interested in vlogging when I was in college but I could not do it as I had no equipment. But I always wanted to be independent,” he said.
This year Waseem started making challenge videos and reaction on popular reels.“My videos started getting views and my channel went from 2k followers to 11k in a few months. Although it’s not really a big achievement but I am happy about it and I will try my best to upload more quality content in the future,” he said.
Waseem said his family has been supportive which has given him encouragement and hope to perform well.
