Srinagar, Jan 07: Er Nazir Yatoo, General Secretary for the Kashmir province of DPAP and incharge of the Charari Shareef constituency, visited the Charipora area of Pakherpora on Sunday.
The purpose of the visit was to engage with locals, understand their concerns and bolster the party’s influence in the region, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party said in a statement.
During interactions with the residents, Er Yatoo highlighted the instrumental role of the party chief Ghulam Nabi Azad in Jammu & Kashmir’s political landscape.
He lauded Azad as the only leader who genuinely holds the best interests of the people of J&K at heart.
Er Yatoo praised Azad’s tenure as Chief Minister, citing notable development initiatives and progress achieved under his leadership. The tangible growth during Azad’s term serves as evidence of his dedication and vision for Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
Several prominent political activists from the area expressed their faith and allegiance to the DPAP during Er Yatoo’s visit, the statement said, adding, “Their decision to join the party underscores the increasing momentum and trust DPAP is gaining within the political circles of Jammu & Kashmir.”
