New tourism infra underway in Anantnag’s Bidihard

Bidihard (Anantnag), Dec 24: New tourism infrastructures are being established in the Bidihard area of Kokernag, in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials welcomed the private sector for aiding tourism enhancement and fostering local economic growth through employment generation.
Bidihard, located in Larnoo Tehsil, is a remote village rich in tourism potential. Muiz Qadri, Tehsildar Larnoo said it is of great significance to develop tourism infrastructure and stressed the pivotal role of private sector engagement in uplifting the local economy – this sector holds immense potential.
“To promote positive strides in the tourism sector and boost the local economy, a premier hotel has recently emerged in Bidihard, Larnoo. Inaugurated by the sub-divisional administration in Kokernag, this hotel provides requisite accommodation and a diverse culinary experience amidst the scenic beauty of Bidihard, creating employment opportunities for others as well,” he said.
He further said that this tourism infrastructure serves as a preferred choice for tourists seeking accommodation in Kokernag. It not only entices tourists but also generates employment prospects in the remote area of Bidihard.
“The tehsil administration commends such positive endeavours and invites interested parties to establish tourism infrastructure in Kokernag while adhering to legal procedures,” he added.
