Ganderbal, Feb 14: A team from the revenue department on Tuesday demolished an “illegally constructed” temporary tin shed on the banks of nallah at the Khaan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Official sources said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, a team from the revenue department headed by Tehsildar Ganderbal along with police demolished the “illegal” tin shed.
He said the drive would continue in the future as well and warned the people there to refrain from raising illegal structures on the banks of the Nallah Sindh.
“Anybody found involved in raising illegal structures would be dealt with strictly,” the official warned.
