Rajouri/Kathua, March 06: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal and Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey on Monday chaired separate meetings to discuss the arrangements for the successful conduct of Lt Governor’s Special Governance camp for the displaced persons of the Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK).
In both meetings, detailed deliberations were held regarding various arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of the camps for the displaced persons at designated locations.
Speaking at the meeting, DC Rajouri underlined the objective of the camps, emphasizing that the primary focus of these camps is to ensure that all the displaced persons of POJK are registered under various schemes and programs of the Union and UT Government. He asked the concerned stakeholders to work in tandem and synergize their efforts for the smooth and successful conduct of the camps to achieve the desired objectives of the camps.
The DC stressed on the importance of effective coordination among various departments and agencies involved in the arrangements, such as the health department, police, transport department, and local administration. He also emphasized the need for proper communication with the displaced persons to ensure that they receive adequate support at the camps.
The Lt Governor’s camp for displaced persons of POJK will be held shortly at designated locations in the Rajouri district.
Deputy Commissioner Kathua in the meeting directed the officials to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made for the smooth conduct of the camp. He also emphasized the need for proper coordination among the various departments involved in the organization of the camp.
The Lieutenant Governor’s Special Governance Camp for displaced persons of PoJK is scheduled to be held on March 19, 2023, in the Kathua district.
The Lieutenant Governor’s Special Governance Camp for displaced persons of PoJK is aimed at providing different government services/ schemes, such as Aadhaar cards, voter ID cards, domicile certificates, and health services to the displaced persons. The camp will also provide an opportunity to the displaced persons to interact with government officials and voice their concerns.
