Meet Tassaduq Hussain Baba, a cinematographer whoe has brought life to numerous stories on the big screen. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for capturing emotions, Tassaduq has carved a niche in the art of cinematography.
Equipped with a deep understanding of lighting, composition, and camera techniques, Tassaduq embarked on a journey, embracing diverse projects and platforms to showcase their expertise.
Tassaduq’s portfolio includes numerous commercials and music videos and campaigns, such as RKFC (Real Kashmir Football Club), AppleGram, Khadi India, and the prestigious Goa Feast gold winner, have garnered widespread recognition. Notable music videos like “Nazeen Yaar” with Merchant Records and “Harmukh Bartal” have also gone viral, showcasing Tassaduq’s talent for visual storytelling.
“Working as a cinematographer for the advertisement industry presents a unique set of challenges. With tight deadlines and unpredictable circumstances, you have to thrive under pressure, consistently delivering ”, he said.
Tassaduq is known for their resourcefulness and adaptability, leveraging the available resources to produce stunning imagery, even in the most demanding situations.
Tassaduq firmly believes that cinematography is a collaborative art form.
“Cinematography often involves experimenting with unconventional camera angles, unique framing techniques, and lighting arrangements that add depth and visual richness to the final product.” he said.
Over the course of their career, Tassaduq has received recognition for their outstanding contributions to the field of cinematography.
In April 2015, Tassaduq had the privilege of joining the crew of the highly acclaimed movie “Bajrangi Bhaijan” in Kashmir, where he served as an assistant, contributing to the film’s success. This experience further solidified their passion for cinematography.
As Tassaduq went into the field of advertisements, he worked on notable campaigns for renowned brands such as Havells, Taj Mahal Tea, OLX, and Alpenliebe. From August 2015 to December 2015, Tassaduq provided invaluable assistance in delivering visually captivating advertisements for these brands.
In December 2018, he showcased the cinematographic skills in the digital advertisement for Fortune Foods’ “Ghar Ka Khana!” campaign.
Their expertise caught the attention of Amazon, and in January 2019, Tassaduq collaborated with the e-commerce giant as a cinematographer for a digital advertisement.
Tasaduk said. “This opportunity allowed me to further refine my visual storytelling abilities.”
From June to September 2019, he worked as a cinematographer for J&K Tourism, capturing the breathtaking beauty of the region in digital advertisements.
Tassaduq continued his work as a cinematographer for various digital advertisements, including projects with Shoppers Stop in January 2020, Adidas in February 2020, and the “Lost Essence of India” series “Discover India” in June 2020.
His work continued in subsequent years with collaborations on music videos and commercial digital advertisements for renowned brands such as Bindu Zeera Soda, Uber India, Khadi India, Swish Hair Removal, and ITC India.
