Kupwara, June 5: The first phase of the bilateral ‘Kupwara Hindi Sangam’ competition concluded successfully at Teetwal in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, bringing together students from remote border areas in a celebration of language, culture and creativity.
The programme was jointly organised by Wadies Hindi Shiksha Samiti (WHSS), Srinagar, and the Indian Army’s 28 Infantry Division, Kupwara.
The initiative began on June 3 at Army Goodwill School (AGS), Trehgam, where more than 40 students from Classes VI to VIII participated in a written Hindi grammar examination and oral poetry recitation. Students also staged patriotic plays highlighting themes of national pride and unity.
