In a First two junior athletes from Kargil district participating in NIDJAM Patna

Kargil, Feb 11: In a First two junior athletes from Kargil district of the Union Territory of Ladakh participating in NIDJAM in (Patna- Bihar).
Junior athletes including Asif Ali and Minhal Tak have been selected to participate in the sports event.The twin players will be accompanied by official Tahir Ahmad.
The National Inter-District Juniors Athletics Meet is an annual championship.
An unique sports programme which identifies and selects champions from more than 260 districts in India till last count, and provides them a National platform to perform, nurture and get selected for the Indian National camp and further selection for international championship.
Coach Sajjad Hussain said that they are very happy that Athletic Association of Ladakh supporting these athletes and promoting athletics in UT Ladakh.
Pertinent to mention here that, each edition of NIDJAM touches the lives of more than 100,000 boys and girls in the under-14 and under-16 age groups across India and is among the world’s largest talent hunt programmes in a single sport.
