A couple was killed in a lightning strike in a village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
Locals informed that a couple were struck by lightning at Bujbagh village in Pampore area of Pulwama .
They added that the couple were tending their fields when the lightning struck them.“ Both of them were shifted to subdistrict hospital Pampore where doctors declared them dead on arrival,” locals said.
BMO Pampore said that the couple Hilal Ahmad and his wife, Rozy Jan, were brought dead to the hospital.
“After medical formalities the bodies were handed over to their legal heirs for last rites,” she added.
