Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday said they have arrested a man who stabbed his brother over a property dispute in Lalbazar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
The injured person, identified as Bilal Ahmad Geelani, has been shifted to the hospital, and a case has been registered in this regard.
In a tweet, Srinagar Police wrote, “Hilal Ah geelani S/o Noor Md geelani R/o Lal Bazar, Sgr arrested for stabbing his brother Bilal Ah Geelani with sharp edged object.The brothers have familial property dispute. Victim is grievously injured & shifted to hospital. FIR no 29/2023 u/s 307,326,341 of IPC in Nowhatta PS.”
