Srinagar, July 10: The administration on Monday re-constituted the logistic Coordination Committee for integrated development of the logistic sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
The order issued by GAD reads that “The sanction is hereby accorded to the reconstitution of a Logistic Coordination Committee, comprising the following, for integrated development of the logistic sector in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The committee will be headed by the Administrative Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department who will act as Chairman. Members include Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Director General (Codes), Finance Department, Director, Industries & Commerce, Kashmir, Director, Industries & Commerce, Jammu.
It also includes representatives of Agriculture Production Department (not the below rank of Additional Secretary), Public Works (R&B) Department (not the below rank of Additional Secretary) and Logistic Division of Ministry of Commerce, Government of India.
“The Committee shall be serviced by the Industries and Commerce Department,” reads the order.
