Former RS member Mir Fayaz quits politics

Srinagar, Sep 05: Former Rajya Sabha member Mir Mohammad Fayaz on Tuesday announced he is quitting politics citing some family commitments.
Mir in a tweet said he is quitting politics due to some family commitments. “I have decided to keep myself away from active political engagements. Thankful to all my people for their support, he said.
Fayaz was earlier associated with Mehbooba Mufti-led People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He later switched to the People’s Conference led by Sajad Lone.
