Srinagar, Oct 23: Advisor Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar on Monday said that UT administration has significantly enhanced winter services capacity in the region as compared to previous years.
Speaking to the media at Tagore Hall in Srinagar, Advisor Bhatnagar said the government has achieved substantial progress in addressing snow clearance and other critical winter-related challenges.
“Our capacity has been further enhanced this year compared to the previous one. While the last year witnessed improved services, we are now even better prepared to handle any emergencies that may arise,” he said.
Regarding the power, emergency services, and disaster management, Advisor Bhatnagar said they are actively fortifying their capabilities to respond promptly to the situation.
“To ensure the delivery of essential services during the winter season, we are diligently stockpiling necessities, and we will accomplish this process on schedule,” he added.
Advisor Bhatnagar assured that essential civic services, encompassing healthcare, emergency transportation, and police assistance, will remain accessible to the general public to prevent any discomfort during the cold weather.
