While addressing the gathering chief guest said that the union territory has taken giant leaps in the creation of sports-related infrastructure and the efforts of the government will be of no avail unless it is not properly utilized, so it is imperative on the part of our youth to take up sports as not only means of recreation but the means to stay away from the social evils and as a good career option. Referring to the wheelchair Basketball player Insha, the chief guest said that she is a great inspiration and wishes we all could emulate her in the perseverance, grit, and dedication she has shown to follow her dream.
