One-Day Awareness Program on Centrally Sponsored “Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME)” was today oraginsed by Horticulture Planning & Marketing Department at Nowgam Srinagar.
The awareness programme was organised by Area Marketing Officer, District Nodal Officer PMFME Scheme district Srinagar.
PRIs, Bakery Unit Holders of the area, educated unemployed youth, progressive farmers entrepreneurs interested in upgrading their existing units or setting up of new units vehemently attended the awareness camp. The members of (DLSC) of PMFME scheme were also present.
Experts from allied Departments deliberated upon the schemes pertaining to the Horticulture Sector in detail.
Marketing Inspector, Shabir Mufti apprised audience about Micro-food Processing Sector in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and need to integrate the existing unorganized Micro-food Processing Units of the district.
