Jammu District Kickboxing Association successfully concludes

Jammu, Oct 14: The 6th District Jammu Kickboxing Championship, organized by the Jammu District Kickboxing Association under the aegis of the Kickboxing Association J&K, duly recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, concluded on Saturday with a grand valedictory function held at the Indoor Hall of RM Public School.
In this two-day championship, RM Public School emerged as the champions, clinching the overall trophy, while Shiksha Niketan School secured the second position. The third spot was claimed by Jammu Sanskriti School, based on their outstanding performance and the medals earned across different age groups. This high-stakes competition witnessed participation from approximately 600 players representing various schools, clubs, and colleges.
The closing ceremony was graced by Yudhvir Sethi, Vice President of J&K BJP, who attended as the chief guest and presented medals to the winners. He was joined by Rekha Mahajan, Jammu District BJP President, and Ajay Verma, District President of the Kickboxing Association, who attended as special guests. The event was further blessed with the presence of Shreyans Kumar Jain, Chairman of the J&K Indian Yoga Association, who extended his blessings to all the participating players.
On this occasion, Abhishek Jain, J&K General Secretary, commended the efforts of the Jammu District Kickboxing Association and Irfan Chudhary, the organizing secretary, for their dedication and hard work in making the championship a resounding success. He also praised the efforts of their team, including Sudarshan Singh, Pankaj Kumar, and Jagpreet Kour.
The 6th District Jammu Kickboxing Championship exemplifies the spirit of sportsmanship and talent in the region, with participants demonstrating their skills and determination.
