Srinagar, July 22: Boys Higher Secondary School Soura, in collaboration with the Swimming and Survival Society Kashmir, successfully organised a swimming competition at the Water Sports Centre, Nigeen, for the U-17 and U-19 age groups.A statement issued here said that the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young and talented swimmers who demonstrated impressive skill, determination, and sportsmanship. The competition aimed to promote aquatic sports, identify budding talent, and offer a platform for youth to gain valuable competitive experience.In the U-17 category, Numaan Nazir clinched the first position, followed by Aqib Maqbool in second and Usman Bhat in third place. In the U-19 group, Juneed Ahmad secured the top spot, while Hanan Nabi and Imran Ramzan bagged the second and third positions, respectively. The event was well-coordinated, earning praise from participants and spectators alike. Organisers from Boys Higher Secondary School Soura and the Swimming and Survival Society Kashmir were commended for their efforts in promoting sports development and encouraging physical activity among youth.
