Srinagar, May 21: The University of Kashmir on Wednesday announced the rescheduling of the Entrance Test for admission to UG and Integrated UG-PG programmes, originally set for May 31 and June 2. The new dates for the test are now June 5 and June 6.
Dr. Fayaz Ahmad, the director of admissions and competitive examinations told the Rising Kashmir that all candidates who have applied online or will apply by the final date of May 26, should note this change. ” The candidates can download their admit cards starting May 27 after 3:00 PM from the official university website by entering their application form number and date of birth. The exam venue will be indicated on the admit card, and candidates can verify their venue against the Centre Notice, which will be available on the university website on May 28,” the director said
He said that on June 5, the Entrance Test will cover four programmes: the 5-Year Integrated B.Sc. M.Sc. in Electronics from 9:30 to 10:40 AM, the 5-Year Integrated Masters in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from 11:00 AM to 12:10 PM, the 5-year Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. in Botany from 2:00 to 3:10 pm and the 5-year Integrated BA-LL.B. program from 3:30 to 4:40 pm.
Summarily On June 6, the entrance examinations for the 4-Year Undergraduate Programme via the Design Your Degree Mode (DYD) will commence from 09:30 to 10:40 a.m. The entrance test for the 5-Year Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. programme in Physics and Energy Studies will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 12:10 p.m. Additionally, the entrance examinations for the 5-Year Integrated B.A.-M.A. programme in Arabic are scheduled from 02:00 to 03:10 p.m. He further said that entry to the examination hall will close 10 minutes before the start of each test, and candidates must present their admit card along with a valid photo identification.
