Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that they have directed immediate release of contingency funds to all Deputy Commissioners.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister’s office wrote, “In light of current developments, I’ve directed immediate release of contingency funds to all Deputy Commissioners.”
“Officials have been instructed to counter misinformation and urge the public to rely only on verified sources. Let’s stand united and resilient.” the post reads.
