Srinagar, Dec 20: The J&K Ball Badminton Association has announced the organization of selection trials followed by a 21-day residential coaching camp in preparation for the 69th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship for Boys and Girls, scheduled to take place in Nagpur, Maharashtra, from January 17 to January 21, 2025.
According to a statement from the association, the selection trials will be held at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar, on December 23, 2024, at 11:30 AM. The selected players will then participate in the residential coaching camp, scheduled from December 24, 2024, to January 13, 2025.
The association has urged affiliated district units to submit entries by December 22, 2024. For registration, players may contact the General Secretary at 7006533375 or send their details via SMS or WhatsApp in the following format: Name, Parentage, Date of Birth, and District.
Participants are required to bring a passport-size photograph, original age-proof documents, and district and UT-level participation certificates, which are mandatory.
This initiative aims to provide aspiring young players with the necessary training and exposure to excel in the prestigious national-level tournament.
