Srinagar, Nov 14: PPG has officially launched its groundbreaking MoonWalk automated paint mixing system in Kashmir, marking a significant milestone as the first of its kind in the region. This innovative technology, now available at Rahim Motors in Rangret, automates the paint mixing process for automotive refinishing, promising reduced waste and improved accuracy.

The MoonWalk system caters to body shops of all sizes. By capturing a photo of the vehicle with a specialized device, it produces an exact color match, streamlining the painting process and enhancing overall efficiency. This automation saves time and minimizes human error, ensuring high-quality finishes for customers.

Abdul Hamid Bhat, owner of Rahim Motors, expressed his enthusiasm for the new technology. He stated, “We are committed to modernizing the local automotive industry while promoting sustainable practices that benefit our environment.” He highlighted that the MoonWalk system aligns with global trends towards environmentally friendly practices in the automotive sector.

Bhat further emphasized its significance: “The MoonWalk technology not only enhances efficiency but also aligns with global trends towards environmentally friendly solutions in automotive refinishing. This initiative is a significant step forward for us in Kashmir.”

The introduction of the MoonWalk system is set to revolutionize automotive refinishing in Kashmir, establishing a new standard for quality and sustainability. As more body shops adopt this technology, it is expected to enhance customer satisfaction and positively impact the local economy by attracting more business and reducing waste.

Moreover, this advancement reflects a broader trend within the automotive industry towards embracing innovative technologies that prioritize sustainability and efficiency. As regions like Kashmir adopt such cutting-edge solutions, they not only improve their local industries but also contribute to global efforts in reducing environmental impact. With this leap into advanced technology, Rahim Motors aims to lead the way in transforming automotive services in Kashmir, setting an example for others in the region to follow.
