Budgam, Oct 18: Two residential houses were damaged during a fire incident that occurred on Wednesday evening at Kralwari village of Budgam district.
An official from the Chadoora Fire Station informed Rising Kashmir that they received a fire call at 8:39 PM on Wednesday. Fire tenders promptly arrived at the scene, allowing them to bring the fire under control.
“Two double-storey residential houses were affected by the fire. One house suffered extensive damage, while the other experienced partial damage,” the official said.
He said that the properties belonged to the late Ghulam Ahmad Lone, son of Asadullah Lone, and Ghulam Rasool Bhat, son of Abdul Sattar Bhat, both residents of Kralwari Chadoora.
“Another fire incident occurred on Friday in the main Chadoora town, near the police station. We received the fire call at 12:10 PM. Due to the proximity of the location, the fire was contained in a timely manner,” the official added.
He confirmed that no property was involved in this second fire incident.
