Srinagar: In a statement, the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) officers expressed their deep appreciation to the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary of the Home Department, and the Director General of Police for their visionary leadership in restructuring the JKPS cadre and notifying long-awaited rules after a seven-year delay. This significant reform recognizes the contributions of the JKPS officers and the police force’s efforts in countering Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and maintaining peace in the region.
The officers emphasized that this acknowledgment of their dedication serves as a motivator to continue their commitment to safeguarding the welfare and security of Jammu and Kashmir.
