In order to review the implementation of different schemes and progress achieved in Agriculture and allied sectors meant for overall development of farmers in District, a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat here today at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the achievements made by Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries in implementation of Holistic Agriculture Development Programme(HADP) in the District.
During the meeting, the DC was given first hand appraisal by the concerned District/Sectoral Officers through PowerPoint presentations highlighting the progress made and targets achieved so far in implementation of different Centrally sponsored schemes under Agriculture and allied sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC asked the officers to work with added zeal and dedication to ensure the benefits of all schemes under agriculture and allied sectors are percolated to the target population. He enjoined upon them to reach out to the target population by activating field functionaries to complete the process of identification of beneficiaries in their respective zones.
