Srinagar, August 07: A 30-year-old woman on Wednesday gave birth to triplets naturally, all male healthy babies, at Sub District Hospital Tangmarg in Baramulla which was a rare such case, doctors said calling it a remarkable achievement.
Block Medical Officer, Tangmarg, Dr Zahoor Tantray said it was an extraordinary event and the medical team accomplished a feat that stands as a testament to their exceptional expertise and dedication.
“This exceptional case is particularly noteworthy as all three babies were delivered naturally, without the need for caesarean section, which is a rarity in such cases,” he said.
As per doctors the first baby was delivered at her home on August 06 at 8 p.m. in a nearby village. Following this the mother arrived at SDH Tangmarg with the retained twins.
“The remaining two babies were safely delivered under the expert care of the attending team led by the highly skilled Senior Consultant Gynaecologist, Dr Zainab Drabo,” he said.
This achievement was further supported by a proficient team comprising Consultant Paediatrics, Dr Nisar; Medical Officer Gynecologist, Dr Shafaq; Dr Rafeeqa, Staff Sister Haleema, Sister Ruksana and students.
Spokesperson DHSK said the operation was brilliantly executed with dedication to handle such a complex and rare medical case with remarkable success.
