Srinagar, July 19: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah offered Salat al-Jumu’ah at the Asar-e-Sharief Dargah Hazratbal. On the occasion, he prayed for ease in the suffering of the people of Palestine and the establishment of lasting peace, amity, and prosperity in West Asia.
Later in the day, Dr Abdullah visited Noushehra to commiserate with Khwaja Ghulam Mustafa Shah on the passing of his wife. He was accompanied by Party’s Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq. They recited fatiha for the departed soul and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
The NC Chief, accompanied by Member of Parliament Ladakh Haji Hanifa Jan and Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, also visited the residence of noted social activist Sajjad Kargili to inquire about his ailing wife. They enquired about her condition and prayed for her swift and complete recovery.
