Budgam, Sep 11: A seven-year-old boy died in a road accident in the Arigam village of Khansahib tehsil in Budgam district on Monday.
An official from Police Station Khansahib told Rising Kashmir that a Santro vehicle bearing registration number JK04D 8393 hit a 7-year-old boy in Arigam which resulted in his death.
He identified the deceased as Reyan Bashir Wani, son of Bashir Ahmad Wani, a resident of Arigam, Khansahib.
“A case under FIR number 127/2023 has been registered at the Police Station Khansahib,” the official said, adding, “The vehicle involved in the accident has been seized, and the driver has been arrested.”
