The district administration Budgam organized a farewell-cum-welcome function at the conference hall here during which Deputy Commissioner S F Hamid appreciated the outgoing SSP for his cooperation and coordination in maintaining a peaceful law and order situation during his tenure.
The DC praised Tahir Saleem for his excellent work in nasha mukt (drug-free), crime tackling, Covid management and other areas, saying “the outgoing SSP led his police team with clarity of heart and shall be remembered for his humbleness, humility and public friendly approach in the district”.
The DC while welcoming the new SSP said that best support and cooperation shall continue under his guidance so that both civil and police administration continue to work in a coordinated manner. ADDC, ADC and other officers extended their best wishes to both officers for their new assignments.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Al Tahir Gilani assured full support to the administration and said he will try his best to deliver up to the expectations of the general public. The outgoing SSP in his address thanked the DC Budgam and all senior officers for their support and appreciation. He commended their combined efforts for keeping things calm in the district.
