Youth Services & Sports Dept concludes U-14, U-17 tournaments in Doda

Doda, May 26: The Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Doda successfully concluded the U-14 and U-17 boys and girls tournaments at the Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The event was organized as part of the annual activity calendar for 2024-25, approved by Director Youth Services and Sports J&K, Subash Chander Chibber.
The event operated under the esteemed aegis of District Development Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh with guidance from Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, Ved Prakash and under the direction of DYSSO Doda, Sunil Kumar.
The tournament featured a variety of sports competitions, including Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, Chess, Carrom, Tug of War, Fencing, Taekwondo, Wushu and Shooting, providing students an excellent platform to showcase their talent, skill and sportsmanship.
Students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their abilities and competitive spirit throughout the tournament. The event not only highlighted the athletic skills of the young participants but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among them.
Zonal Physical Education Officer Doda expressed gratitude and appreciation to the field staff for their cooperation and efforts in ensuring the smooth conduct of the inter-school zonal level tournament. The success of the event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
