Srinagar, Aug 06: Vomedh, a leading cultural organization, in collaboration with the media portal The Right News (TRN), successfully concluded a devotional program on Sunday, celebrating the revered mystic, Swami Nand Bab, and promoting the spirit of Sufism and mysticism in the picturesque valley of Kashmir. The event took place at the prestigious Tagore Hall in Srinagar and witnessed the jam packed and enthusiastic participation of distinguished guests, cultural enthusiasts, and devotees from all walks of life.
The event commenced with a warm and heartfelt welcome speech by Rohit Bhat, the founder of Vomedh and TRN. In his address, Bhat emphasized the significance of preserving Kashmir’s rich heritage of mysticism and talked about his mystical personal connection with Swami Nand Bub.
A poignant and insightful documentary, “Sarkar the Nand Bab,” was screened during the program, shedding light on the life and teachings of the revered mystic, Swami Nand Bab. The film captivated the audience, offering a glimpse into the mystic’s clairvoyant abilities and his ability to transcend religious divides to alleviate the sufferings of the common people.
The highlight of the event was two soul-stirring paper readings on Swami Nand Bab, delivered by distinguished gentlemen, Brij Nath Batab, a renowned poet, writer, and eminent journalist, and Dr. Ghulam Nai Haleem, a celebrated poet and writer. Both readings delved into the mystic’s life, his universal message of love and compassion. The speakers explained that the removal of Article 370 opened up avenues for positive transformation in Jammu and Kashmir.
