Inaugural week of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra VBSY) in District Anantnag unfolded as a remarkable testament to the collective spirit of over 81000 participants across 168 Gram Panchayats in District Anantnag. Spanning eight blocks, including areas with a substantial tribal population, the Yatra became a vibrant tapestry of empowerment and engagement towards a shared vision of national development.
The VBSY camps emerged as dynamic hubs of activity, attracting enthusiastic individuals who actively participated in organized events and availed on-the-spot services. Health camps, a cornerstone of the Yatra, witnessed an impressive turnout with 42000 participants. The camps meticulously screened 10656 individuals for TB, 260 for Sickle cell anemia, and 1500 for NCD.
