Legislative Assembly (MLA) Habba Kadal, Shameema Firdous urged the district administration to make adequate arrangements for the upcoming annual Urs of Hazrat Ropa Reshi (RA), which is to be observed at his revered shrine located in Habba Kadal, Srinagar.In a statement issued here, Firdous emphasised the spiritual and cultural significance of the Urs and called upon the concerned departments to ensure that all necessary facilities are in place to accommodate the large number of devotees expected to visit the shrine during the observance.She specifically stressed the need for uninterrupted water and power supply, proper sanitation, medical facilities, and traffic regulation around the shrine area. “The Urs of Hazrat Ropa Reshi (RA) holds deep religious importance for the people of Srinagar, particularly the residents of Habba Kadal. The administration must ensure smooth arrangements so that devotees can participate in the spiritual gatherings without any inconvenience,” she said.
