Udhampur, Aug 01: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee for the Mission YUVA scheme to evaluate, screen and approve loan assistance applications for Nano and MSME and other enterprises.A statement issued here said that the meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh; General Manager District Industry Centre Kishore Singh Katoch; Deputy Director Employment Mohinder Sharma; Assistant Director Employment Priyanka Gupta, other concerned officers and representatives from the banking sector. After a comprehensive scrutiny of the applications, the Committee approved 80 loan cases out of the total 84 applications put before the Panel. While speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner underscored the need to expedite the implementation process through effective coordination among all line departments. She directed the concerned officers to ensure 100 percent approval of eligible cases under the scheme. DC emphasised the crucial role of Yuva Doots in information gathering of eligible beneficiaries and directed the stakeholder departments to enhance awareness by organizing special awareness camps.
