Three day chess competition concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 10: A three day chess competition event concluded Monday at Srinagar Sports Club Wazirbagh Srinagar. The event was organised by the District Srinagar Chess Association.
A statement from the Association said that about 55 players participated in the event, which included senior, junior, sub-junior players among both boys and girls.
As per the statement in senior category Sahil Rashid Kumar secured first position and was overall champion, second position was secured by comrade Rashid Gowhar and third position was secured by Mohammad Ayaan Khan.
In junior boys U-07 category first position was secured by Parth Pandey, second position by Mohammad Salman; Under -09 category and first position was secured by Abdul MuizQadri, second position by AabanSajad; Under-11 category first position was secured by MufassirHussain, second position by Sheikh AzharAfaq and third position by EhanSajad; Under -13 category first position was secured by Syed IkhlasBukhari, second position by MolviRiza Ali and third position by WajidGowharTak; Under-15 category first position was secured by Abdul Baari; Under-17 category first position was secured by BazifManzoorBhat and second position by Irfan Amin; Under-19 category first position was secured by FaizanShabir.
Among the Girls Under-07 category first position was secured by ZairaReyaz; Under-09 category first position was secured by Aleena Reyaz; Under-11 category first position was secured by AaeeshaGowher Rashid; Under-13 category first position was secured by MasoomaZainab; Under-15 category first position secured AreebaShabir.
