JAMMU, Aug 21: A suspected drone was spotted by locals in the border area of Gajansoo in Jammu district on Thursday afternoon, prompting security agencies to launch an intensive search operation, officials said.
The search operation was jointly carried out by the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP).
“It is not yet clear whether the drone originated from this side of the border or from across it,” a police official said, adding that an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
