SS Sodhi elected president, J&K Rifle Association

Jammu, Feb 06: Elections of J&K Rifle Association for the term 2022-2026 were conducted at Police GO’s Mess Gulshan Ground Jammu under the supervision of Returning Officer Smt. AnshujaTak Returning Officer nominated by J&K Sports Council on Monday. Surinder Singh Sodhi was unanimously elected as President of J&K Rifle Association.
Amjed Parvez Mirzawas re-elected as General Secretary, whereas Arun Mansotra was elected as the Treasurer of the Association. Sohan Lal Sharma, S. Paramjeet Singh, Ashok Kumar and Samar Dev Singh were elected as Vice Presidents of the Association.
Further, Manu Partap Singh Wazir was elected as Joint Secretary of the Association while,
Anupam Sambyal,S.Upinderjit Singh,Deepika Singh, Sharuti Sharma, andNirmaljit Singh were elected as executive members of the Association.
Dilbagh Singh IPS has been nominated as Patron- in- Chief and Kuldeep Singh Jamwal as the Chairman of J&K Rifle Association.
SharatChander was made the Chief Executive Officer of the J&K Rifle Association.
Other committees constituted are Advisory Committee with S. Jai Pal Singh(Chairman), and members including V.S Pathania, Sukhvir Singh on the Technical Committee, with Rajesh Virdhy(Chairman),and Anu Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Tarun Singh Jamwal, and Vishal Mehra as other members.
Speaking on the occasion, Dilbag Singh (IPS) praised all the newly elected members of the Association for their exemplary services extended and also extended his best wishes to the newly inducted President JKRA,Sodhi and his team, who in turn assured all members of the previous and the new team that all will work together to ensure that young shooting talent of J&K will be brought on the national and global maps soon like the others states of India.
