Jammu, Oct 19: Jeetendra Kumar, a distinguished alumnus of Mechanical Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, has played a pivotal role in India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon and the development of the LVM 3 rocket that carried it.
Currently serving as a Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Kumar is deeply involved in the Cryogenic Engine of the LVM 3 Launch Vehicle.
Kumar’s expertise and dedication were instrumental in the successful execution of the prestigious Chandrayaan-3 Space Mission. His achievement highlights the commitment of SMVD University to nurturing exceptional engineering talent.
