Sericulture Development Department’s DPC Promotes 28 employees

Srinagar, July 13: Director Sericulture J&K, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS) today chaired a U.T Level Departmental Promotion Committee meeting at the Directorate of Sericulture Development Department J&K, TulsiBagh, Srinagar. In this significant meeting, 28 employees of the Sericulture Development Department J&K were cleared for promotion to higher posts.

Speaking on the occasion, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS), highlighted the importance of these promotions in recognizing the hard work and dedication of the employees. He emphasized that the special U.T Level Departmental Promotion Committee meeting was held under the able guidance of Shailendra Kumar (IAS), Principal Secretary to Government, Agriculture Production Department J&K. Bhat expressed his gratitude for the support provided by Shailendra Kumar (IAS), which has been instrumental in the successful conduct of the meeting.

The Director, Sericulture Dev. Department J&K also assured that in the future, these Departmental Promotion Committee meetings will be conducted on time thereby ensuring that eligible and deserving employees receive their due recognition and career advancement opportunities without unnecessary delays.

He reiterated the department’s commitment to fostering a culture of meritocracy and timely rewards for its workforce. Moreover, he also exhorted upon all the employees who fall under consideration zone for timely submission of complete documents required for their consideration to higher posts.

The promotion of these 28employees marks a significant step towards strengthening the Sericulture Development Department which will certainly enhance productivity and efficiency in the Department. The department continues to strive for excellence and always encourages its staff and ensures that they are motivated and well-equipped to meet the challenges of the future.

On the occasion Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS), Director Sericulture J&K congratulated the employees and hope that they will work with renewed zeal and zest, besides, discharge their abilities to the best of their competence. He assured them of resolving all their genuine service matters/demands like revision of recruitment rules, fixing of seniority in some cadres etc.

Meanwhile the employees of the department hailed the efforts of the Director Sericulture J&K who has taken on board the concerned authorities for ensuring the welfare and promotion aspects of employees under his control, an official statement issued today said.

The Director, Sericulture Dev. Department J&K in conclusion concluded the meeting and thanked the Additional Secretary to Government, Agriculture Production Department and other members of the Departmental Promotion Committee for attending the meeting who also thanked the Chair on the occasion.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Secretary to Government, Agriculture Production Department J&K, Additional Director Sericulture Jammu/ Kashmir, Accounts Officer, Administrative Officer and the other officers of the Directorate of Sericulture Development Department J&K.
