Srinagar, Dec 29: Pencak Silat Association of J&K is going to conduct the selection trials for the Sub Junior & Pre-Teen (Boys & Girls) players for their onward participation of the State team in the forthcoming Sub Junior & Pre-Teen National Pencak Silat Championship 2022 which will be scheduled at Nanded, Maharashtra from January 13 to 16, 2023.
Simultaneously, the selection of the Junior team will also be made during the same time for the 6th edition of Pencak Silat Federation Cup 2022 which will be held in Goa from January 19 to 21, 2023. However, the Senior team which will represent the UT of J&K in the Federation Cup were already been set at the time of Senior Nationals who had played in the Senior Nationals and qualified for the Federation Cup accordingly.
The selection trials will be held at Indoor Sports Stadium, Polo Ground, Srinagar on 31 December 2022 to shortlist the Kashmir Division athletes, and also at Indoor Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar, Srinagar and Jammu on 31 December 2022 to shortlist the divisional athletes to make the final team for the national championship which will represent the UT of J&K in the above mentioned national events.
In this connection, all the interested athletes who have already participated in the domestic activities of this year under their district are advised to report to the concerned stadiums at Jammu as well as in Srinagar convenient to them, along with the date of birth certificate, aadhaar card and two passport size photographs.
