Second randomization of Counting Staff held at Ganderbal, Shopian

Ganderbal, Oct 06: The second randomization of counting staff for the twin Assembly Constituencies of district Ganderbal was successfully conducted on Monday in preparation for the counting scheduled on October 8, 2024.
The process was carried out under the supervision of District Election Officer (DEO) Ganderbal, Shyambir in presence of Returning Officers of both the Assembly Constituencies here at V.C Room of DC Office.
The randomization was conducted using dedicated software, strictly adhering to the guidelines of the Election Commission of India ensuring fairness and impartiality in the selection of counting personnel.
The DEO highlighted that adequate arrangements have been made to equip the staff with the necessary knowledge and orientation to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the counting process.
The second Randomisation of the counting staff for 36-Zainapora and 37-Shopian Assembly Constituencies was also conducted here for the vote counting to be held on 8th of October, 2024.
The exercise was conducted by District Election Officer (DEO) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar at Mini Secretariat Shopian in presence of Counting Observor, Zainapora, Jeevan Babu K and Counting Observor, Shopian, Roohi Khan and respective ROs.
In the process, staff members designated as Counting Supervisors, Counting Assistants and Micro Observers were allotted to Assembly Constituencies of 36- Shopian and 37- Zainapora.
The Randomisation was done through dedicated software where the counting staff was allotted randomly among the two ACs of the district.
Third randomisation shall be done on the Day of counting, 8th October, at 5:00 A.M in which tables shall be allotted to the counting staff.
ADDC, ADC, ROs, Dy. DEO, DIO and other officers were also present on the occasion.
